Where It All Started For Us

We first started steppin in Atlanta, Georgia under the guidance of Rodney “Doc” Ellis in 2007. The picture on the left is from our days as students (smile). “Doc” Ellis is a native of Detroit, Michigan and the co-founder and CEO of Steppers Choice.We were very fortunate at the time to be introduced to this wonderful dance form while residing in Covington, a suburb of Atlanta. We had the opportunity to dance with and learn from master steppers who visited "Doc's class" like Donny Davis, and Tyc Man. The instructor and lesson that had the most impact and influence for us was the Learn2Step DVD series produced by Ronneal "MOE" Muhammad.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide friendly, mature  entertainment using the art of dancing to individuals of all ethnicity. We intend to make learning Chicago Style Steppin fun and easy while promoting an enviroment of positive adult interaction.

Our Goal

Our goal is to teach you how to step as quickly as possible. You can expect to learn to step right away, meet and interact with couples and singles who enjoy dancing, and learn from instructors who have great personalities and are eager to see you succeed. We want learning to be comfortable for you.

We can help with preparing you to showcase your dancing skills or add some excitement to your next event by sponsoring group or private steppin lessons. We will get you ready for your next wedding, holiday party or anniversary.
